Her teaching interests include U.S. History, environmental history, gender history, and African American history. Her research interests also encompass borderlands history and pop culture.  She is currently writing an open source textbook on U.S. History to 1877; draft version available at <a href=\"http:\/\/freehistory.space\">freehistory.space<\/a> She may be reached at ddamico@francis.edu.
